Wrigley Field, which was built in 1914, is playing host to Major League Baseball for the 90th season in 2003. The Friendly Confines is the second-oldest ballpark in the majors behind Boston's Fenway Park (1912).
Tuesday, Oct 7 2003, I snaged a ticket (see below) allowing me entrance to game 1 of the National League Championship Series. The Cubs were coming off a thrilling victory in Atlanta. They had just crushed the Braves to win the division. Now the Florida Marlins' had come a calling.
